Sterling Silver Garnet Brooch.  An Antique Floral Spray of Silver and Marcasite Pin Accented with 10 Garnets. This Antique Sterling Silver Garnet Pin most likely dates prior to 1906. An unmarked Pin tested to be Sterling Silver. While it would have required the 925 mark after 1906.

Yet the closure used on the brooch dates to the 1930’s. Possibly a replacement closure added at some point. At any rate the picture do not do this Sterling Silver Brooch justice. Paved with Marcasite this Garnet Pin glistens as it moves under light.

This Sterling Garnet Brooch measures 2-1/8″ tall by 1″ wide with ten .33 carat Garnets for a total of 3.3 Carats. This is a beautiful Brooch in excellent condition with a wonderful patina.
